Sensory Sessions: Active Academy for Teens

We are delighted to partner with Active Academy again this summer, bringing an inclusive area for teenagers to hang out with or alongside others while sharing their interests. The sessions are flexible and can be adapted to include any special interests or new things that the teenagers may like to try or share.

Teen Time:  for ages 15-18 yrs
Tues 19, Wed 20 & Thurs 21 August, 12.00-2.00pm 
Available activities include reading zones, Lego, PS4 gaming, board games, art, beauty and fitness. The sessions are flexible and can be adapted to include any special interests or new things that the teenagers may like to try or share.
Places are limited, booking essential. 
 
Taster Sessions:  for ages 15-18 yrs
These short sessions offer participants the chance to try something new. If your teenager needs 1:1 support we would ask you to stay during these taster sessions.  

Tues  19 August, 2.15-3.00pm: Inclusive Exercise Class 
Try our 30-minute exercise class for all levels and abilities. These classes are aimed at teenagers but we encourage their parents / guardians to join in too.  

Wed 20 August, 2.15-3.00pm: Board Games, Book & Hobby Share 
Bring along your favourite board game or some books that you may like to swap, review or discuss with other readers. You can also share your hobbies or special interests by introducing them to others and letting us try them out. 

Thurs 21 August, 2.15-3.00pm: Lego, Art, Basic Crafts & Beauty 
Get creative with Lego, paints, stencils, embroidery sets, bead bracelets and loom bands, or treat yourself to a mini-pamper session with our nail polish and face masks.
