The Health Promotion and Improvement Service are delivering a 6 day Training ‘Foundation Programme in Sexual Health Promotion’ (previously 10 days).

Foundation Programme in Sexual Health Promotion

The programme will run in 2-day blocks over a period of 3 months, all Tuesday’s & Wednesday’s

All six days must be completed to receive certificate

The application is a 2-step process comprising an application form and telephone interview (interviews will take place the week of the 2^nd March 2026).

Your application form must be signed by a line manager to confirm approval to attend the complete programme.

Closing date for receiving applications is the 23^rd February 2026.

This Course is certified by the HSE Health and Wellbeing and is accredited by:

• • The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland as a competency based programme, awarding 30 approved CPD hours.

• The Irish Association Counselling and Psychotherapy awarding 36 CPD points.
