Blast Invite to Schools 2026/2027

The Blast Programme Launch date is now launched: 18th March 2026- 20th April 2026

We would like to remind all our Primary and Post Primary schools in Blackrock to consider applying for a Blast residency this year, particularly if you have not yet already done a Blast residency before. 

The feedback has been excellent to date from our schools who have participated in this programme- It not only enhances teacher pupil engagement but also artist pupil engagement in a supervised environment in the school.

We have drawn together a very experienced cohort of Artists from all disciplines including visual artists, textile, music, dance, drama, poetry over the last number of years. All our Artists complete a TAP (Teacher Artist Partnership) Summer course training programme and are garda vetted .
