Interdisciplinary day conference in July in University Limerick Saturday 9th July 2022

The Interdisciplinary Day on Prader-Willi syndrome will take place on Saturday July 9th2022. (This interactive educational meeting is part of a wider International Prader-Willi Syndrome Organisation Conference in University Limerick 6-10thJuly 2022.)

We are encouraging all schools who have a pupil with Prader-Willi syndrome to attend as there will be a strong focus on education throughout the day. Their staff will meet experienced colleagues from around the world alongside other relevant professionals such as psychiatrists, educational psychologists, dieticians etc. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about successfully including and supporting pupils with Prader-Willi syndrome. Come to learn, problem solve, share your own experience and network with Irish and international colleagues.

Prader Willi Syndrome Association Ireland (PWSAI) are keen to support teachers and SNAs to attend and so have set up a bursary fund which will cover registration for the Interdisciplinary Day and a contribution to travel expenses. There are limited bursaries available, so we encourage your staff to apply as soon as possible. You can contact the secretary of PWSAI at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to apply for the bursary fund.
