Learning Outcomes

1. Participants will explore the importance of Maths Talk as a key pedagogical principal contained within the curriculum. Some relevant academic research will be offered to participants to demonstrate the relevance of including maths talk in lessons.

2. Discover some strategies to enable effective use of maths talk across varying class groupings.

3. Build a bank of maths talk resources to draw on for use in maths lessons.

2. Discover some strategies to enable effective use of CCTs across varying class groupings.

3. Build a bank of CCTs resources to draw on for use in maths lessons.
