This interactive webinar focuses on building a culture where leadership is shared and responsibility is distributed across the whole school community. Anchored in the Looking at Our School 2022 domains of Leading school development and Developing leadership capacity, participants will explore the benefits of a distributive leadership approach for staff, students and the wider school community.
The session will invite participants to reflect on their current context, consider practical ways to involve more people in leadership work, and examine how structures such as middle leadership roles, working groups and collaborative teams can be used to support sustainable improvement.

Kieran Sweeney is an accredited post-primary based coach with experience as an AP1, Deputy Principal, Principal and previous Director of the Limerick Education Centre. He is a qualified and certified leadership coach and is a trained and approved competency-based interview chairperson with the JMB.
