Exploring Numicon in the Classroom
Teaching and learning with Numicon requires children to be active - to actively learn and to do the mathematics for themselves. Doing mathematics (i.e. thinking and communicating mathematically with Numicon, explicitly involves illustrating in every activity through exploring relationships.

Matching Shapes, Ordering Shapes, Counting to 5, Understanding One More, Odd & Even, Sorting, Investigate Ordering & Make Generalisations, Basic Adding & Subtracting, Using Numicon Pegs, Number Bonds to 10, Number Square Patterns.

OVERVIEW
Subitising, Arrays, Percentages, Quick-Fire games, Data Handling, Money, Grids & Grid References, Addition, Subtraction.
Presentation 3: 22nd March (7-8pm)
OVERVIEW
100 Baseboard, Geometry, Layouts, The Clock, Fractions, Factors, Division, Multiplication.
